Tomatin – Portuguese Collection 2006 15 Year Old Moscatel Cask (70cl, 46%)

This is a 15 year old Tomatin from the Portuguese Collection, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled on 8th September 2006 and laid down in oak casks for over eight years. On 23rd April 2015 it was moved into Moscatel de Setúbal casks, where it spent a further seven years. The nose is marmalade, honey and salted caramel with a hint of citrus. Ginger and star anise come through on the palate, and the finish is long, with a dessert wine character.
