Tomatin – Portuguese Collection 2006 15 Year Old Port Cask (70cl, 46%)

This is a 15 year old Tomatin from the Portuguese Collection, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled on 8th September 2006 and laid down in oak casks for over eight years. On 23rd April 2015 the whisky was moved into Port casks for a further seven years of finishing. The nose opens with Black Forest gateau, and warm spices develop into fresh summer fruits. The palate is deep with forest fruits: blackberries, raspberries and cherries. Sweeter peach and apricot notes return on the finish.
