This is a Speyside single malt from Tomintoul, distilled on 26 January 2015 and bottled at 51.3% ABV for the Cask Masters series from Brave New Spirits. After maturation it spent a further 46 months in a freshly emptied first fill Oloroso sherry barrique.
It is non-chill-filtered, with no added colour, and 264 bottles were filled.
The nose brings candied orange peel and fresh clementines, with liquorice and a hint of salmiak. On the palate, fruity sweetness meets spice, with the salty-sweet note of peanut brittle.
