Tomintoul 14 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the Tomintoul Distillery, part of the Original Collection. It was bottled in 2021 at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in refill sherry butts and is non-chill-filtered, with no added colour.
The nose is typically described as fruitcake, honey and budding gorse. On the palate there is chocolate orange, walnuts and alcohol-soaked sultanas. The finish brings salted caramel, a slightly hoppy note and stewed apples.
