This is a limited edition Speyside single malt from Tomintoul, distilled in 2008 and bottled at 46% ABV. It was first matured in ex-bourbon American oak, then finished in White Port barriques sourced from Portugal by Master Distiller Robert Fleming. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The finish adds a fruity character, with dried fruit, candied orange peel, apricot and caramelised apple, alongside vanilla, honeysuckle, toasted oak and gentle spice.
