This is a 15 year old Speyside single malt from Tomintoul, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle and supplied in a gift box.
The whisky was moved from bourbon casks into hand-picked Port pipes to complete its maturation, and it spent a generous period there. The finish brings tones of fruity Port sweetness.
Tomintoul's Master Distiller chose to bottle it at 15 years, once the malt flavours had reached harmony with the sweetness of the Portwood.
