Tomintoul 16 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from Tomintoul Distillery, matured for 16 years. The distillery is known as The Gentle Dram, and this bottling keeps to that gentle character without relying on heavy peat or strong oak.
The nose offers honey, vanilla and ripe orchard fruit. On the palate, creamy vanilla and honey meet apples, pears, nuts and malt, with warming spice and oak adding structure. The finish is smooth and lingering, with gentle sweetness, fruit, spice and mature oak.
