This is a 19 year old Speyside single malt from Tomintoul, distilled in August 2000 and matured in a single Pedro Ximénez sherry butt. It was bottled in February 2020 at 55.8% ABV, and the cask yielded 521 bottles.
The nose is led by heavy PX sherry and seasoned oak. On the palate come raisin and honey sweetness, a rich, velvety mouthfeel and nutty, oaky undertones. The finish is long, with rounded spice.
