Tomintoul – 2001 24 Year Old Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice Single Cask 6273 (70cl, 55.7%)

A single cask Speyside malt from Tomintoul, distilled in 2001 and matured for 24 years before Gordon & MacPhail bottled it on 10th June 2025 for their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength range. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 55.7% ABV. The whisky matured in a refill American hogshead, cask 6273, and produced 263 bottles. It is bottled with natural colour and without chill filtration. The tasting notes describe tropical fruit, cocoa powder and soft herbal notes on the nose, then pineapple and toasted almonds on the palate, finishing with honey, citrus and mature oak.
