A 13 year old Tomintoul single malt, distilled in 2010 and bottled by Dràm Mòr Group as its Spring Release 2024. It matured in a single bourbon cask and was then finished in a first-fill PX sherry hogshead. Only 218 bottles were filled.
The nose shows classic sherry character, with dried fruit and dark demerara sugar. The palate is juicy, warming and soft, with plenty of fruit. The finish brings dark, charred oak and turns out drier than expected.
