Tomintoul – 2012/2023 11 Year Old 1st Fill Oloroso Hogshead Whisky Druid (56.9%)

This is an 11 year old Tomintoul single malt from Speyside, distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2023 by Whisky Druid. It is bottled at a cask strength of 56.9% ABV, without chill-filtering and with natural colour. The whisky matured entirely in a first fill Oloroso sherry hogshead. Only 303 bottles were filled from the cask, each in a tube. It is described as perhaps the softest of Speyside single malts, with notes of hazelnuts, Toffifee and chocolate alongside dark fruits.
