This is a 25 year old Speyside single malt from Tomintoul, bottled by the distillery at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
It was made from a selection of Bourbon casks, each at least 25 years old.
The nose is rich, with toffee, oatmeal biscuits, sultanas, brown sugar and toasted oak. The palate is sweet and complex, with layers of salted caramel, pipe tobacco, nuts, maple syrup, oak and stone fruit. The finish is long and warm, with a touch of coffee and burnt sugar.
