A small batch Speyside single malt from Tomintoul, created by Robert Fleming and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in ex-bourbon American oak barrels, which were then married and finished in hand-selected French cognac casks.
The distillery describes a light, lifted nose of chestnut, lemon rind, blossom honey and amaretti biscuits. The palate brings sweet choux pastry, Chantilly cream, sugared almonds, butterscotch and golden raisins. The finish carries white chocolate, panettone and nutmeg, fading into warming ginger.
