Peaty Tang is a 15 year old peated single malt from Tomintoul, in a 70cl bottle. It is made in the Speyside Glenlivet area with peated malted barley, which is unusual for the district. The whisky spent 15 years in hand-picked oak barrels and has a rich golden colour.
The nose offers heathery smoke balanced by subtle floral tones. The palate has gentle peat and a hint of malty nuttiness, and the finish is a lingering note of smoke and peat with a touch of sweetness.
