Tomintoul – Pinot Noir Cask (70cl, 40%)

Tomintoul Pinot Noir Cask is a single malt Scotch whisky from Speyside, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is a small batch bottling in the Tomintoul Cask Finishes series. The whisky is first matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks. It is then married and finished in hand-selected casks that previously held Pinot Noir from Burgundy. Tasting notes describe layers of baked strawberry, blackcurrant liquorice, glacé cherries and a muesli bar, with tobacco and the spiciness of oak.
