Tomintoul Small Batch White Port Cask Finish is a single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40%. It was aged in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, then married and finished in hand-selected White Port barriques from Portugal.
The nose offers tangy stone fruits and lychee with lemon drizzle cake, vanilla pod and ginger biscuits. On the palate there are apricot Danish, poached pears and tarte Tatin, bound with black coffee, buttery malt and baking spices. The finish is sweet and warming, with Swiss roll and strawberry trifle fading into mocha and toasted nuts.
