Tomintoul – White Port Cask (70cl, 40%)

Tomintoul White Port Cask is a single malt Scotch whisky from Speyside, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is a small batch bottling in the Tomintoul Cask Finishes series. The whisky is first matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks. It is then married and finished in hand-selected casks that previously held White Port. Tasting notes describe layers of apricot-filled buns, poached pears and tarte Tatin, bound together with black coffee, buttery malt and spices.
