This is a 7 year old single malt from Torabhaig, distilled in 2018 and bottled in 2025 at 60.4% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a first fill barrel and is part of the Samhain Series, whose labels are designed by Edinburgh-based artist Steven Shand.
The nose is classic peat and smoke over a creamy base of vanilla, chocolate, nuts and custard. The palate starts soft and sweet before taking a citrus turn, with barbecued lime, lemon pork and cracked black pepper. The finish is long and smoky, with chocolate coffee bean and salted liquorice.
