Torabhaig – 7 Years Old 1st Fill Bourbon Barrel Living Souls (70cl, 51.5%)

This is a seven-year-old Torabhaig from the Isle of Skye, bottled by Living Souls, an independent bottler based in Glasgow. It is among the oldest releases from the young distillery. The whisky matured in first fill bourbon barrels and is bottled at 51.5% in a 70cl bottle. The tasting notes describe smoked ham on the nose, alongside charred, sticky marshmallows and roasted almonds. The sweet and spicy contrast is said to linger.
