Torabhaig – 7 Years Old 1st Fill Bourbon (70cl, 51.5%)

This is a 7-year-old single malt from Torabhaig Distillery on the Isle of Skye, bottled at 51.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It matured entirely in first fill bourbon casks and is bottled for Living Souls. Torabhaig opened in 2017 and makes smoky single malts. The nose brings smoked ham, salted smoke and sea air. On the palate there are burnt, sticky marshmallows and roasted almonds, a sweet and salty combination that lingers.
