Torabhaig – Allt Gleann (46%)

Torabhaig Allt Gleann is a peated single malt from the Isle of Skye, bottled at 46% ABV. It is the second release in the distillery's Legacy Series and takes its name from the stream that runs past the distillery. The malt is heavily peated, at around 77 PPM, and the whisky matured in a mix of first fill and refill bourbon casks. It is bottled without chill filtration or added colour. The nose is fresh peat smoke, sea air and light citrus, with vanilla, honey, wet wood and pepper. The palate is oily and smoky, with toffee, smoked malt, lemon peel and black pepper. The finish is long, smoky and lightly salty, with ash and vanilla.
