Torabhaig Legacy Series 1st Edition, The Inaugural Release, is a single malt from Torabhaig on the Isle of Skye. It is the first edition in the distillery's Legacy Series. Torabhaig was founded in 2013, began distilling in 2017 and bottled its first batch at the end of 2020. It is the first distillery built on Skye in 190 years. The whisky is distilled in copper pot stills and fermented in traditional wooden vessels. The series runs through further releases towards a 10 year old edition planned for 2028, charting how the character of the peat develops.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
