Torabhaig – Legacy Series Allt Gleann Batch Strength (61.1%)

This is the batch strength version of Allt Gleann, the bottling that closes its place in the Torabhaig Legacy Series. It is a single malt from the Isle of Skye, bottled at 61.1% ABV. The character of the original, with its bonfire smoke, saltiness, sweet vanilla and woody spice, is kept and turned up in strength. Torabhaig was founded in 2017 and is the second distillery on Skye. The nose brings vanilla oak, beach-fire smoke, cigar box and lemon peel. Peat smoke carries onto the palate with oily citrus, a hint of tropical fruit, vanilla pastry and a medicinal edge. The finish is slightly floral, with orchard fruit, peppery peat smoke and sea salt.
