Torabhaig – Sound of Sleat Batch Strength (70cl, 60.2%)

Torabhaig Sound of Sleat Batch Strength is a peated single malt from the Isle of Skye, bottled at 60.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The malt is peated to over 78PPM, with 19PPM of phenols in the glass. The barley is Concerto and Laureate, fermented for 72 hours with Pinnacle MG+ yeast. Maturation is in American oak only: first-fill bourbon, refill bourbon and freshly toasted virgin oak barrels. Expect coastal smoke and toasted oak, with spice, salted honey and charred stone fruit, followed by a long, tingling finish.
