Torabhaig Allt Gleann Batch Strength is an official bottling from the Legacy Series of Torabhaig, a distillery on the Isle of Skye. It is bottled at 61.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration.
The barley is lightly peated and the water comes from the Allt Gleann burn beside the distillery. The spirit is matured in oak casks that previously held bourbon.
The nose has maritime peat smoke with orchard fruit, citrus zest and a little vanilla. The palate is bold, with malt sweetness, pepper, coastal salinity and phenolic depth. The finish is long and warming, with sweet smoke, dried fruit and a mineral note.
