Torabhaig Allt Gleann is a peated single malt from the Isle of Skye, part of The Legacy Series. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill filtered and of natural colour. The name comes from the stream that supplies the distillery with water.
The barley is malted to 55-65ppm phenol, and the spirit matured in a combination of first-fill and refill bourbon casks.
The nose brings maritime peat smoke and honeyed sweetness, with orchard fruit, vanilla and a touch of coastal salinity. The palate balances sweetness and peat, with citrus zest, toasted oak, baking spices and a hint of tropical fruit. The finish is medium to long, with smoke, warming spice and malty sweetness.
