Torabhaig Legacy Series Chapter No. 4, called Sound of Sleat, is a peated single malt from the distillery on the Isle of Skye. It takes its name from the Sleat area and the stretch of sea that separates the island from the Scottish mainland. It is made from Concerto and Laureate malted barley with a phenol level of 78ppm or more in the grain, matured in American oak and bottled at 46% without chill-filtration or added colour. Artwork by local artist Ellis O'Connor, showing the view from the distillery, appears on the bottle and box. The nose brings pipe tobacco, orange and apricot, with honey and vanilla beneath. On the palate there is sweet bonfire smoke, beeswax, brine and white pepper, and the finish is long, with brine and honey.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
