The first release in the Legacy Series from Torabhaig, a new single malt distillery on the Isle of Skye. It is a three-year-old whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
It is heavily peated: the malt had a phenol content of 55-60ppm, and the whisky was fermented with Pinnacle MG+ yeast. The phenol level in the bottled whisky is 16ppm. It is bottled without chill-filtration or added colouring, and 840 bottles were released for the Italian market.
