Town Branch Imperium Bourbon (70cl, 48%)

Town Branch Imperium is a Kentucky bourbon bottled at 48% ABV. It is made from six barrels: three from a mash bill of 72% corn, 15% rye and 13% barley, aged between seven years eight months and eight years two months, and three from 70% corn, 12% wheat and 8% barley, aged between six years five months and six years seven months. Rounded oak, caramel, fresh flowers and dark cherries mark the nose. The palate runs from sweet caramel, pecan pralines, apricots and black cherries to dry oak, vanilla custard with toasted almonds, and clove pepper. The finish is medium-soft, with ripe oak and roasted nuts.
