Traveller Whiskey is a 45% ABV whiskey developed jointly by Buffalo Trace Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley and the country musician Chris Stapleton, whose first mainstream whiskey it is. It was released in early 2024. The final liquid is Blend No. 40, chosen from more than 50 experimental blends. On the nose it shows vanilla, aged fruit, buttery shortbread and caramel over subtle oak. The palate begins with light sweetness that moves into spice, toasted nut and oak, and the finish is smooth.
