High West American Prairie is a blended bourbon in a 70cl bottle, made by High West, founded in 2006 in Park City by Jane and David Perkins. The distillery is described as the first to revive distilling in Utah since 1870.
The blend combines two straight bourbons: a six-year-old from Seagram's in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and a ten-year-old from Four Roses, a style rich in rye.
The name pays tribute to the American Prairie Reserve, an organisation that works to conserve wild land in Montana.
