Tullamore D.E.W. 12 Year Old Special Reserve is a blended Irish whiskey aged for a minimum of 12 years. It brings together grain, malt and pot still whiskeys, and it is triple distilled. The nose has ripe fruit, vanilla and sweet malt, with hints of toasted wood and gentle spice. On the palate, sweet fruit and vanilla meet caramel, malt and subtle nutty flavours, with mature oak and warming spice behind them. The finish is long and warming, leaving sweetness, fruit, nuts, spice and polished oak.
