Tullamore D.E.W. 18 Year Old is a triple distilled Irish single malt, bottled at 41% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Over its 18 years it matured in four kinds of cask: ex-bourbon barrels, old ex-Oloroso sherry butts, ex-Port pipes and ex-Madeira drums. The palate is smooth and mellow, with cinnamon, apple and vanilla oak. The finish is rich and warming, with lingering malty sweetness alongside cinnamon, baked apple and biscuit.
