This is a blended Scotch from Turntable Spirits, the Glasgow blending house of brothers Gordon and Ally Stevenson. It was released in 2024 for the first birthday of Turntable Spirits, in an edition of around 2,000 bottles, and takes its name from the Daft Punk track.
The blend is 26% Tamdhu from a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt, 21% Dalmunach and 18% Mannochmore from first-fill bourbon barrels, and 22% Girvan grain from first-fill bourbon barrels plus 13% from Marsala barrels. It is bottled undiluted at a natural cask strength of 59.1%, uncoloured and non-chill-filtered.
The nose shows nuts with milk chocolate, toffee and nougat, then plum and red berries. The palate has sherry character with clove, pepper and juniper, with vanilla and a hint of stone fruit. The finish is medium and drying, with pepper and dark cocoa.
