This is a Canadian single malt from Two Brewers, the Classic Release 35, in a 70cl bottle. It was named Canadian Single Malt of the Year in the 2023 edition of Jim Murray's Whisky Bible.
The nose is intricate, with baking spice, ripe stone fruit, umami and fresh oak. The entry is creamy, bright and assertive, with a spice-wrapped sweetness that grows across the palate. The finish is long, with drying oak, fine sugars and a sprinkling of spice.
