Unamed Orkney 2005 13 Year Old Bar Higuchi Original Bottling (70cl, 58.5%)

This 13 year old single malt from Scotland was bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Company for Bar Higuchi, in Fukuoka Nakasu on Kyushu. It comes from a single bourbon hogshead, which gave an outturn of 360 bottles at 58.5% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is bottled at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, and is described as true to the flavour profile of Highland Park. The label artwork was designed by Meizaburou Sakamoto in collaboration with the whisky retailer SHINANOYA.
