Uncle Nearest 1856 Premium Whiskey (70cl, 50%)

Uncle Nearest 1856 is a Tennessee whiskey blended from whiskeys aged between 8 and 14 years. It is bottled at 50% (100 proof) in a 70cl bottle. The brand honours Nathan Nearest Green, an enslaved man who taught Jack Daniel's how to make whiskey and was its first master distiller. The Nearest Green Distillery was built in 2018 in his honour. The nose brings caramel, cornbread, hay, stone fruit and maple. The palate has dried fruit, spicy caramel, nutmeg, chocolate and a floral note, and the finish is long, with raspberry, wood and vanilla.
