Uncle Nearest 1884 Premium Small Batch Whiskey is a Tennessee whiskey bottled at 46.5% abv (93 proof) in a 750ml bottle. It is matured in new charred American oak.
The mashbill is corn driven, with at least 51% corn, and the whiskey is filtered through sugar maple charcoal in the Lincoln County Process. Each batch is curated by Master Blender Victoria Eady Butler, a descendant of Nearest Green, the master distiller the brand honours.
The colour runs from golden amber to copper. The nose offers honey and warm brown sugar, with cedar, orange peel, tobacco flower, ground ginger and white pepper.
