Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC - Dal Forno

A red wine from the Valpolicella wine region in the Veneto. It has a deep, bright ruby colour and a complex nose of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, with black pepper, clove, vanilla and tobacco. On the palate it is elegant and well balanced, with soft tannins and pleasant acidity. The fruity, spicy and toasted flavours develop through the glass, and the finish is long with a slightly almond note. It suits roast meats, game and aged cheeses.
