A Verdicchio di Matelica DOC from Monacesca, with a measured and recognisable aromatic profile.
On the nose it shows white-fleshed fruit, citrus, white flowers and a light bitter almond note. On the palate it has balanced acidity, medium body, sapidity and a finish of moderate persistence.
It pairs simply with light seafood dishes, shellfish, fish-based starters and vegetable soups, and is best served fresh at around 8-10 C.
