Veuve Clicquot Vintage Rosé 2015 is a prestige vintage rosé Champagne in a 75cl bottle, led by Pinot Noir. Its colour and structure come from red still wine from Bouzy, a Grand Cru village, and from reserve wines aged in large oak foudres.
The house was founded in 1772 and draws its fruit from Grands Crus and Premiers Crus. The wine is made by the traditional method with extended ageing on its lees.
Wild strawberry and Morello cherry open the nose, followed by blueberry, subtle spice and a biscuity note. The palate is generous, with ripe strawberry, peach, salted almond and pink grapefruit zest, and a velvety texture from the red wine. The finish is long and creamy, with honey and toasted almond.
