Courage & Conviction is the first release of the flagship American single malt from Virginia Distillery Co. Its name comes from a principle of the founder, Dr George G. Moore, to have the courage of your convictions.
It is made from 100% malted barley and aged for a minimum of three years in former sherry, bourbon and Cuvee wine casks.
The nose gives caramel and butterscotch. On the palate come bright red fruit, raspberry, cocoa, barrel spice and vanilla, leading to a creamy, smooth finish.
