Virginia Distillery Co. – Courage & Conviction Bourbon Cask Finish

Courage & Conviction Bourbon Cask Finish is a single malt from Virginia Distillery Co., made from 100% malted barley and aged for a minimum of three years in former Bourbon casks from Kentucky. It is bottled in batches so that the character of each contributing barrel comes through, and it is natural colour and non-chill-filtered. The first batch, released in spring 2021, is dedicated to Nancy Fraley, one of the distillery's key mentors. The nose offers caramel and butterscotch, followed by vanilla and toffee on the palate. The finish is creamy, with a lingering hint of cinnamon.
