Vya Sweet Vermouth is a sweet vermouth made by Quady Winery in Madera, in California's San Joaquin Valley, at 16% vol.
It is built on three wines: a dry white wine, Quady's Essensia Orange Muscat and Starboard Batch 88, a port-style wine. This base is infused with more than 17 botanicals and spices, including cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom and clove, then fortified with a distilled spirit.
The nose is herbal and lightly sweet, with autumn woods, mulled wine and holiday spices. The palate mixes sweet, sour and spicy notes: nutmeg, orange rind, dried fig, damson and cherry. The finish is long, with dried apricot, fig and baking spice.
