Watt Whisky M&H 2018 3 Year Old (70cl, 57.1%)

This is a 3 year old single malt from the M&H Whisky Distillery in Israel, distilled in 2018 and selected by the independent bottler Watt Whisky. It is a single cask bottling at cask strength, with 319 bottles drawn from an STR barrel. The whisky was bottled in 2022 at 57.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with no added colouring and no chill filtration. The nose offers milk chocolate and oak. The palate turns sweeter and more powerful, with chocolate, honey, vanilla and a clear peppery spiciness, plus fruity touches of strawberry. Wood spices and dark chocolate come forward in the finish.
