Wenneker Oude Proever is an oude genever in the traditional Dutch manner, made from a malt base with a careful selection of herbs and spices. It is ripened in oak casks and comes in a one-litre bottle.
The character is robust and rich, yet soft on the palate despite its aromatic complexity. Wholegrain cereal and malt lead, followed by juniper and a hint of wood from the oak. The finish is long and lightly spiced.
It can be sipped slowly or used as the base for classic Dutch cocktails.
