Westward – American Single Malt Rum Cask Finish (70cl, 50%)

Westward American Single Malt Rum Cask Finish is an American single malt from Westward, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. The whiskey spent an additional year in barrels that had held Casa Magdalena, a cane-to-glass rum distilled in Escuintla, Guatemala, and aged in Westward's barrel house in Oregon. Master Distiller and Co-Founder Christian Krogstad developed the rum over five years with the Leal family, long-time partners of the distillery. The notes describe clover honey, butterscotch and herbal tones on the nose, then tropical fruit, white peach and coconut on the palate. The finish brings tangerine, molasses and waffle cone.
