Westward – Cask Strength (75cl)

Westward Cask Strength is an American single malt whiskey from Westward Distillery in Portland, Oregon, in a 75cl bottle. It is made from 100% malted barley, fermented with ale yeast and double distilled in copper pot stills. The whiskey is matured in new charred American oak barrels and bottled at natural barrel proof, without chill filtration. The nose shows baked apple, caramel, toasted oak, dark chocolate and baking spice. The palate is full-bodied, with toffee, roasted nuts, dried fruit, vanilla and oak spice. The finish is long and warm, with lingering malt sweetness and charred oak.
