Whiskey Row Honey Hole is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Kentucky Artisan Distillery in Louisville, aged for a minimum of four years and bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The name refers to the bourbon tradition of 'honey hole' barrels, prized for rich, sweet character. It is made from corn, rye and malted barley, aged in new charred American oak and blended from small-batch barrels. The Whiskey Row line pays tribute to Louisville's historic Whiskey Row district.
The nose is sweet caramel with toasted oak, baking spice and a hint of maple. The palate is creamy, with vanilla, toffee, cinnamon, nutmeg and a gentle rye bite. The finish is medium to long, with oak and lingering spice.
