Whisky Works Glaswegian 29 Year Old Single Grain (70cl, 54.2%)

Glaswegian is a 29 year old single grain Scotch whisky from Whisky Works, bottled at 54.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in American white oak barrels, mainly in traditional dunnage warehouses, where earthen floors keep the air cool and humid. That has made for a slow maturation, with less whisky lost to evaporation. The outturn is 1,642 bottles. It is described as sweet, with rich butterscotch, delicate vanilla and exotic fruit, rounded off by a caramelised crème brûlée note.
